In the early 1990s, J. began acquiring pre-owned vehicles from the dealerships he serviced. He meticulously reconditioned each car to near-new condition and resold them to other dealers and at auctions. Through this hands-on experience, he developed a deep understanding of automotive restoration and built the foundation for what would become Momentum Motorcars, a premier dealership based in Marietta, Georgia.

In 2006, J. and his family visited the scenic beach communities along Florida’s 30A and were instantly captivated. After frequent visits, they purchased their first property in Watersound Beach in 2008 and soon after designed and built their first home in the area. Over the past two decades, J. and his family have split their time between Atlanta and 30A, becoming deeply connected to both communities.

Recognizing a unique need among 30A’s full- and part-time residents, J. envisioned a secure, high-end facility for vehicle storage and care. This vision led to the creation of 30A Car Barn— a brand-new, state-of-the-art vehicle storage facility designed to meet the unique needs of 30A’s residents and visitors.  John Sapone serves as the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) at NinjaOne, where he brings over 20 years of experience leading high-performing revenue teams at some of the most successful hypergrowth companies in enterprise technology. His leadership journey includes pivotal roles at Snowflake, ServiceNow, Data Domain, and Nimble Storage.

Before joining NinjaOne, John was Senior Vice President of Sales at Snowflake, where he led a team of hundreds and helped scale the company’s revenue from $1 billion to $4 billion. At ServiceNow, he served as Vice President of Sales for Commercial and Emerging Markets, building a new business unit that reached $1 billion in revenue. Earlier in his career, John held revenue leadership roles at several pre-IPO and high-growth companies, including Nimble Storage—where he helped lead the company through a successful IPO—and Data Domain, which was later acquired by Dell EMC.

Outside of his professional accomplishments, John is a lifelong automotive enthusiast. Inspired by his father’s passion for cars—from his first Audi and Porsche to a classic 1979 TransAm—John has passed that love on to his children and turned it into a shared family tradition. This passion led to the creation of the 30A Car Barn, a venture born from a dinner conversation between two friends who share the same appreciation for automobiles. 

“My father has always loved cars. I remember his first Audi, his first Porsche, and his 1979 TransAm. My appreciation comes from him, and it’s something I’ve now passed on to my children. I’ve had over 60 cars in my life, which is why we’re turning our passion into something we can share with you.”

John and his wife Penny enjoy splitting their time between Atlanta and Florida’s scenic Highway 30A in Alys Beach, where they continue to build community around their shared interests.
